Facelift C class only on AMG?

I'm confused, I'm looking for a C63 Saloon and know the facelift version has fewer vents in the front grill, different shape headlights and the interior is a lot different especially the Nav unit.

But I have noticed standard C class mercs on 63 plates with the older looking front grill, why?

Is the facelift only the C63?

Mercedes actually put different 'faces' on their cars depending on whether they are the 'standard' or 'sport' models in the range. I can't remember exactly the breakdown but think there are a few different grilles with different styles/numbers of cross-members. Someone else on here will undoubtedly know more...

The entire range was facelifted, with new panels to the front, and they all have the same shape headlamps, albeit with different treatments. Non-Sport models have what may be regarded as a more traditional grille, which at first glance could look pre-facelift like.
