w210 e280 Maf Problem ??
Discussion
Hi all
just changed cars from MGzs180
My 2001 e280 which is dual fuel is giving constant fault codes, I have been told that the post cats have been removed 02 sensors replaced and plugs changed the errors that show up are below I cannot detect a misfire when driving ,the car will run very erratic from cold sometime but not all ,if I turn the engine off and wait a few seconds restart the fault clears
could this be the Maf or vacuum pipes , I have ruled out water in the fuel as the engine is up to temperature and running on LPG but please correct me if I am wrong
cheers paul

All the plugs were been replaced abt 1200 miles ago before i had the car ,i have not checked the leads as yet i ran engine check pro diags today 1 error was Fuel system 1 status (closed loop system fault) not sure if this is the 02 sensor. I do not think it is the plug leads might be wrong , because if I switch off and restart after a few seconds the car is fine and plays good for the rest of the day, I thought it might be the Gas causing the problem so I switched that off and started fault still there switched off again restarted all is fine ,I will have a look tonight at plug leads when I have done the auto box oil and filter change
can anyone tell me what my short Term and long Term fuel trim figures mean I tried to put them up here but the formatting went wrong , I have them in a file
