Last night the front parking sensors on my E350 suddenly went 'full red' as I slowed for a roundabout. There was nothing in front of me, nor snow, leaves or anything else blowing around. 1 mile later when I got home I found that the rear sensors were't working either. Both sensor bars light the red lights up, without the yellows. Then turned themselves off after 10 secs or so.

Anyone else had this? I'll pop out and see if still doing it this morning and book it in to the MB dealer for a look. (car is 1 year old)

Hi,

Occasionally happens on my C Coupe, but I find that the gremlin has gone on next use of the car.

The Gremlin does seem to have gone to sleep this morning as the sensors are working again. How un-Germanic!

Happens to me a lot. Turning the car off for a few seconds and on again resolves the issue on mine.

gremlin is there still unfortunately. Seems to be more common when it has been raining. But then that is all of 2014 so far so hard to tell!

Same problem I had experienced, a few layers of wax has cured the problem.
