Automatic dimming mirror override
Discussion
How do you override the automatic dimming rear mirror and driver's door mirror (2013 CLS) ?
At night it's plain dangerous (for instance you can't see a car on the o/side whose n/side headlamp is out!). In early morning with low sun behind there's no way of not being dazzled short of moving the rear view mirror.
The whole idea of mirrors is to let you see what's around you. These damn things do the opposite.

You can block out the sensor in the middle top of the rear view mirror with tape but the side mirrors are electronic iirc and will need to be disconnected but wether that would that effect the heated bit I'm not sure.
You can pop the mirrors out, although I've not tried it on the new models, and disconnect them.
