Stonechip cracked my windscreen yesterday so a new one was fitted today.
Turns out I've got sensors on the front for ALKA. I didn't even know I did. Do you need to activate it and how does it work?

Of course...I don't want to fall asleep at the wheel to find out! biggrin

If it is the same as Attention Assyst, you can go into the computer and enable or disable it.

I need a windscreen for my E class and apparently there are at least two different screens. You need the correct screen which apparently has the sensors for it to work. If it has stopped working you should check you have the correct screen fitted. MB should be able to tell you this.
