C Class Coupe CL203 purchase

Hi, my first post on here so I'm hoping this is the right place to ask this.........................I am looking to buy a C Class coupe (CL203) post 2006 and was looking for some heads up as to what is the best one in that range? With regards to what engine and gearbox (petrol/diesel or manual/auto)and reliability of both, Thanks in advance.
