How do you clean your windscreen?
Discussion
Hi Guys,
I am having an issue with my auto wipers on my C Coupe, the damn things keep wiping whether dry or wet and only after about 5 minutes do they stop!! It is really infuriating to say the least.
I have tried cleaning the windscreen with glass cleaner, neat washer fluid, car shampoo and randomly rubbed a potato on the screen (as recommended by someone - Why oh Why did I even try that!!!!) all to no avail, the wipers keep wiping.
Looking for any tips before I book into the dealership to take a look.
Happy Monday

I had heard a potato or apple smeared on the windscreen acted a bit like that RainX stuff and was an "emergency" solution in days of old when the wipers stopped working altogether during a downpour.
Check there is nothing in front of ie glass side of the sensor first, and/or fiddle with the sensitivity setting.
