Hey all,

New C63 Coupe owner here - the car came with chrome trim mouldings around the windows which I'd like to change for Black as I think it add's a touch of a 'Mondeo Ghia'esq look to the car.

What's the preferred route for changing this? The only thing I can find on various forums is to use vinyl to cover it over but I think this might look a bit tacky over time...

Anyone done it before?

Cheers,

Rick.

Its not advised to try to remove and paint or wrap the trim as it'll never go back the same way due to warpage.

Some companies use a rubber-esque spray to coat window trims. Good thing is any overspray can be easily removed. Might be best to ask in the bodywork section of PH.

We've had a couple wrapped and the quality is good enough that most people would never know. As it's not an area of high wear I can't see any issues with wearing quickly.
