What connector for Mercedes vito head unit?

Hi all,

I want to replace the head unit of my 2009 Mercedes Vito with an aftermarket satnav unit, and Ive been asked what adapter do I need... a 24pin or 40 pin connector. The vito has the steering wheel controls if that makes a difference,
