As is my wont, I found myself browsing classifieds for things I'll probably never buy but would if I could.

My cybercruising led me here, where my flabber was a little gasted.

Is that for real? That V8 must be a flippin tight fit let alone with a 4WD auto box going on under there too.

Do we reckon it's a lie (seems like a stupid one), a conversion or a rare factory version?

Yes, I know about all the non-MB versions but the question was whether there existed a W124 500E, and the answer is no.
