Creaking panoramic S/R on C63 Coupe
Discussion
The clue is in the title really. Panoramic roof when closed creaks like crazy when going over bumps or not driving on the level, like driving in a car park. Am I the only one to suffer this? As soon as I open the roof a tiny bit it stops, and I note it seems a lot less after a clean.
Any ideas how to get rid of the creak, and if anyone else can help with the creaking centre console that would be even better.
Normally the creaks are not an issue with the roof open and gunning it, but when it's wet...

I know exactly how to get rid of your creak. Take it to you local MB dealership. They de-creaked my C63 (dashboard). There will be no charge.Any ideas how to get rid of the creak, and if anyone else can help with the creaking centre console that would be even better.

You could try getting some rubber lubricant and lubricating the sunroof seal.
I had the dreaded centre console creak. After putting together and sending quite a detailed presentation to MB they did a good job of fixing it. In fact my car is now very good for squeaks and rattles, and I have a very keen ear for such things.
Best thing is to take it into MB and take the service manager out for a drive. Get him/her to confirm he/she can hear the fault(s) then leave the car with them until they're fixed.

I had a similar problem - it drives you mad! After a couple of fruitless trips to the garage, I managed to agree to the MB technician coming for a run in the car to show him the exact noise. Previously, the problem had been list in translation. This ensured it was fixed. You may want to ask for this when you book it in. Good luck!
