It is a cabrio by the looks of it. The hard top was a rare and hugely expensive option when new.

If you can find one of the 14 RHD examples that is!
IIRC, the last one to come on the market, in a green with cream colour combo was about £25-28k.

Quite premium over the E320 cabriolet, but certainly worth it the niche enthusiast market

And yes, that example, while not in my favourite colour, is simply stunning!

It is a cabriolet. I had a good look around it when I was at MB World a few months back.

Saw a silver one this morning(four door). Was a bit surprised at how quiet it was accelerating hard away from the lights. Maybe just too used to the modern V8 and growly AMGs. Looked nice though. Shows how right the shape was/is
