W124 long range tank?
Discussion
The coupe did have the option of the 90 litre tank, too.
Whether Saloon and Coupe tanks would be interchangeable, I don't know.
I not sure if it would be affected but I would also check the fuel pump, lines, tank fixing points and perhaps boot carpets, etc weren't also different. Probably wouldn't be, but worth checking first

The XKSS holds 20 gallons or thereabouts, but that doesn't go far. On the other hand the C class diesel (2012) will easily do 500 on a tankful. I am sure many modern cars can easily cope with that. Didn't Clarkson do Switzerland to Blackpool on one tank in an XJ6 a few years back?
Yes, he did, Baden Baden to Blackpool in a XJ TDV6.Sad as this may be...but in my defence it's part of my job! The long range tank was an option on the CE, my 300CE had it fitted. Filling it used to hurt! Someone elses problem now as I've 'loaned' it to a friend of mine. Anyway, code 915 was the 90l tank. There will be differences to the boot interior trims but little else I think.
