i have a 2009 c250 cdi auto, and in gear its quick vis a v 369 lbsft at 1200 rpm. I am thinking of buying a new c300 hybrid with the same engine output and the electric motor.from what I can gather this gives you a total of 640lbsft approx.do any of you clever guys know that in normal hard acceleration with this new model do you get the combined output, or would you only get the diesel output.nobody seems to know and I don't want to slip up and let slip this great motor I have at the mo,albeit I know noisy.that does not bother me.also some of the early drives of the new c250 cdi in the motoring press make out its flat mid range.surely that cant be right with an advertised lighter car and the same output.or have they strangled it though the gearing in the hallowed name of CO2 reduction and fuel consumption.you have to ask these things in this forum as the local mb showroom wallahs go glassy eyed and mute when you ask these sort of questions.
