Mercedes CLK Tyres
Discussion
My 55 came on quite old Falkens which didn't seem to bad (after a GT3 that is) but they needed replacing so I put on a set of the Goodyear F1s which recently topped the EVO tyre test. Car absolutely transformed but I wouldn't say for the better. Brilliant in the wet and you really can feel what the car is doing at all times. Trouble is, its understeering all the time and far worse than before.
I would recommend something along the lines of the Contis or Michelins - something with very stiff sidewalls and not too much flex.

Thanks guys, im kinda unsure about how much to spend atm,
Ive got the continentals on presently but they seem to have worn quickly,
Ive had Eagle F1's (the old version), Toyo-T1Rs and Uniroyal Rainsport 2 on a previous car. I really liked the F1's and was considering getting either them or the rainsport 3.
The michellin seem a tad pricey.
Ive also had a look at the Kumho for the rears but im unsure about going with a brand ive not heard of, the different models they do seem a bit hit and miss.
