Brake Wear

Hi all,

My brake wear indicator flashed at me today (c250 cdi C Coupe 12 plate), I was wondering how much tread I am likely to have left as I am not confident that MB will be fully honest with me should I take it in.

How much mileage have you done? I've got a C350 estate and the front disc need replacing now at 80k miles and the backs where done at 65k. Mercedes dealer was fine at telling me the exact percentage of wear at last service.

I have done 25k. I think the issue is more pads than discs.

Can you not look at the pads yourself?

You can see the pads thru the wheels also how much lip there is on the discs.
