Just to state from the start that I am not related to anyone down at MBS.
If you look through my recent posts you will see that my w211 had got the dreaded SBC - Visit Workshop warning. This warning message has been on the car for over 2 months.
Anyway I took the car down on Tuesday to MBS after speaking with Dave about all the possible costs. I was 90% sure I was looking at a bill of approx £1200.00. I picked the car up Wednesday. Bill was approx £150 and Dave, Carl and Colin had done their magic of reseting the SBC counter.
Needless to say I am over the moon. I cannot stop singing the praises of these guys (top blokes). Was very impressed with their overall attitude. They gave me a courtesy car and there wasnt any fuss or bother unlike a visit to certain Mercedes Dealers.
I had been pondering for some months now to get an AMG but always resisted diving in due to not having anyone reliable to service it. Now I have found them.
Some might think its a long way to go for a service and that thought did cross my mind before but I am now convinced for the peace of mind I will happily make that journey in the future.
One final note. Not all Merc Dealers are the same and I have to thank those who on this forum have tried to help. In addition not all Independent Merc Specialists are the same and shame on you for pretending to be something that you certainly aren't - just the same b*llsh*t.
