Be careful on the roads guys. Nearly soiled myself overtaking a van on the way home tonight. Caught the wet white lines between lanes 2 and 3 and made a very sideways overtake under 50% throttle. Must have looked an absolute hero to the van driver but from the drivers seat i was very much stting my pants. I was lucky to catch it and it'll teach me to keep leave traction control off and box in S mode when it's wet. Fun on roundabouts but that's it!

Good save! So you had DSC fully off in the wet or you mean sport handling mode?

I've been leaving DSC fully off recently as im getting pretty used to the Quaife now (only taken me 9 months). I had it in Sports Handling for a long time but that is too easy once youve got the hang of it. I think i might go back to that mode for the time being. I reckon if i'd let off the throttle once it started to let go i might not have been so lucky. Somehow i managed to stay composed and kept it all calm and gentle.

I've also learnt the hard way on this, the C63 will bite you so hard, on what seems to be the most mildly moist road.

Even with the traction control on it'll give a wiggle as it corrects itself.

Either way lesson learnt, continue to enjoy the car!

Yeah total madness having the ESP fully off, lucky boy!

I've come from S2000's which are awful in the wet even with very limited torque.

ESP fully on in the wet unless controlled playing. I sometimes use Sport Handling when my head is fully in the game too.
