SL63 Amg........how good are these cars really

There's a couple of owners on MBClubUK who will be able to help you if you don't get sufficient info from here.

One guy has the 6.2 na, one has the 5.5 t/t.

I have a 2012 SL63 AMG with the 5.5TT engine. What do you want to know?. I am very impressed with it.

I also have a X5 M5.0D and a V12 Vantage but they both stayed at home this morning! It much quicker than the Aston......at depreciating .

It ticks a lot of boxes for me:

• Mercedes build quality
• AMG engine
• Modern interior and technology
• Easy to drive in town/traffic or eat the miles on a Motorway
• Plenty of poke (check out the latest Evo for remap options!)
• Convertible but metal hardtop so best of both worlds

Thanks for replying.....was just looking for a general opinion on the car from an actual owner....looking at both the SL63 AMG and Bmw M6 at the moment......some stonking dealer contributions on the M6 at the moment over £27k so very tempting
