Garmin vs Becker - Map pilot

Hi Chaps,

Posting out of curiosity more than anything - I was speccing a new C Class this weekend and noticed it comes with Garmin Map Pilot as standard - obviously not the same as the Becker version. Would anyone know if the Becker module would fit and work in the new C Class.

Seems odd that Merc would move away from Becker, esp. as a significant number of cars had the ability to plug in the Becker module.

I love my Becker - had it in two SLKs now.

I read somewhere that the new Garmin one is coded to the car or something?
