Hi folks, I'm just looking at this deal and wondered if those in the know could advise me if it's any good or not?

It appeals because it's a low deposit offer and is what I pay per month on my M135i. I really like the look of the E Class and the extra mpg will suit because I'm going do be doing more miles with work.

Thanks in advance

Martin

Drop PH'er 'Matc' a line on here, see what he can do for you. He can normally offer the best current main dealer prices out there. If not he'll know if there is a better offer on the horizon, timing is everything.

Thanks guys.

Tonker, think it's only £500 of a difference for the e220 via drive the deal though? edit: talking nonsense - was looking at the cabriolet!

That drivethedeal site looks good but you have to make formal finance quote requests - pity you can't call actual dealers as I also have my p/x to consider.

Drive the deal won't do p/x so that's out I'm afraid.

I think the Arnold Clark cars come with leather but would need to check - I've been dearching on-line for anything better than their deal and can't find anything as yet through a main dealer - most other offers seem to be against non-amg spec cars.

Did you notice that the Arnold Clark offer is giving you £6180 towards the deposit?

I sent an e-mail off to Mat - is he a MB dealer?

Unfortunately, it would seem that I still owe a bit too much on my current car and I can't get enough out of Arnold Clark on the p/x front because of the £6k contribution. Apparently they only make around £300 on every one they sell but because they have so many, they're doing well out of it. Think I may well need to wait a bit longer and pay off more of my own car before considering a change.

Yes. Chief jalopy down at MB Poole. Don't act like a tt, tell him you want a deal, put some wedge down and he will do the numbers for you unless you are taking the piss, ie. yer fking skint with a Seat batting average wanting to play against Alan Donald driving a Merc.
