CLK - What to look out for?

I'm probably going to have a look at a CLK 200 tomorrow, 2001 vintage - I know it's not the most powerful out there, being only the 200 but I'm not too fussed as it's just going to be used for the daily cross country commute - are there any potential pitfalls in CLKs of this age, other than rust issues? Also, what sort of mpg is reasonable to expect from the 200?

having just bought one, from my research it was mainly rust rust rust.

good/recent history is a plus too, as it'll save you money.

The rest of the stuff was engine specific and I was looking at V8's.
