I have a newish SL63 and V12 Vantage.
As above the 5.5TT is low boost and under worked so with a little fettling huge gains are achievable.
The SL will now leave the V12 behind but it does not handle as well. It's probably not quite as good at handling as the DBS but it is a convertible so brings another dimension.
The technology in the SL will be far superior to the DBS if optioned correctly. Both interiors will be very nice places to be but the features of the SL will probably make it feel a bit more special until you fire both up. The DBS will sound better. The SL is not as pretty as the DBS but ultimately both are great GT cars.
If you prefer a V12 then consider the SL65 although a SL63+remap will be as potent but better value.

Just thought I would update as we have driven down to Italy over the last couple of days in the SL63. We usually take the X5 as we can take and bring back more stuff but as we drove down in June we really didn't need too much so decided to drive the SL63.
It was a great decision and a fantastic drive down in comfort and the power to cruise down the European roads at 140kmph with the engine just humming at 2krpm.
Even managed to finally open the Harman Kardon DVD that came with the car and have the surround sound music on them - awesome sound system.
Unfortunately I now have to spend a couple of weeks in the sun and pool, eating fine food and drinking fine wine before I get the chance to drive back
