C55 amg estate

Thinking about moving from an e39 bmw to merc and the one that ticks the boxes is the c55 estate... problem is ive never knowingly seen one let alone driven one....

anyone in the bucks area that can let me have a look!? id trade you a spin in the bmw or an alpina in return!

bump... really keen to better understand the ownership experience before I get stuck in! the mbclub forum is a bit slow with scant info on the c55 compared to the e55 and c63

I've got one. Owned for nearly a year. I'd be happy for you to have a look but live SE London so might be a bit of a trek... Didn't realise but there's apparently only 55 of them according to the article on C-Class AMGs on PH today.

I've got one but I'm in Derby. E39 M5 was on my potentials list along with Audi S4s and BMW 335is.

I did plenty of research and am really happy with the C55. Plenty fast but understressed compared to the E55 as well as better handling. Old style slush box works fine with the abundance of torque and so far (touch wood) no extra expense other than fuel. I'm getting 16.8 mpg atm which is probably as bad as it gets with nearly all town driving and a couple of dual carriageway blasts a day.
