New Mercedes Discount From List Price

Has anyone had any success in negotiating a discount on a new Mercedes GLA? Also is there a specific time of the year where dealership targets have to be met, giving the purchaser a better bargaining position?
Any reply's greatly appreciated.

This week I received a call from MB in Manchester, who I bought a car from 3 years ago but heard nothing from since, trying their hardest to sell me anything, telling me they can do great deals this month - so it seems now is as good a time as any, end of year, end of quarter, sales staff eager to make commission and bonus in time for increased spending at this time of year, customers otherwise engaged with shopping for other things!
