C63 'B' Service

Just had this done. Relieved of the requisite 500-odd notes for some oil and brake fluid (next time I'm taking my own).

Creaky roof hopefully sorted.

They mentioned a transmission software up date they had done. Had to say it seemed to have smoothed things out a bit.

But...fuel consumption has suffered (at least by reference to the OBC), whereas last time it was serviced an oil change actually improved it.

Could just be my imagination but there seems to be less 'braap' and 'crack' to the exhaust too.

Any similar experiences?

Had my gearbox software updated at the last service too, cant say its made any noticeable difference to fuel consumption. Might just be the time of year, temperatures have dropped very low recently so it takes longer to warm up etc. The exhaust noise level has actually increased since my last service but that did include a warranty replacement of the rear OS box and tail pipe so I'd imagine that's the reason rather than the service.
