Problems with SLK

I have a 2004 SLK 350 and it has developed the following problems: command screen not working (it is illuminated but doesn't show any information, just lines), drivers heated seat not working (lights come on but go off after couple of seconds) and passenger air scarf not working. Does anyone know someone around Brentwood area that could take a look?

Heated seat usually means a broken element, they are very fragile and its a well known and documented problem. There is a sticky on that forum link about heated seats.

Heated seat is a reasonably easy Fix,
I posted on the SLK forum how I did my wifes.
2 years later it is still working fine
