I have just taken on this little beauty - hasn't seen the outside world for 15 years. Am hoping to restore to former glory over the next couple of months

Its been stored for 15 years in an underground car park.

Finally got her going yesterday - the mileage is showing 23,900.

A major wash/valet this weekend to see how the bodywork comes up.

I will post more piccys after the wash.

Mercedes of this vintage had proper paint applied at the factory and come up very well, even when they've sat covered in dust for many years.

She's now passed MOT and got some new Bridgestones.

Looks like it might be a full respray as there are just to many panels that have scratches. Other than that everything seems to be in perfect working order.

I would seriously consider having it wet sanded before going down the respray route. Check out KDS Kelty over at Gillingham. I've used them before ... highly recommended
