reliable second car?

Would a w211 E350 Sport make a good second car with 2yrs NCB or should I go for the 190E 2.3-16 I have £6k and want a good step up from the 1.6 golf which has been my first car for two years also wanna keep my passengers happy with my choice of car as my gf is fussy when It comes to cars and tend to go out with the family alot so want a nice interior (pleasent environment) the golf was stuffy/cramped on long journeys
