Getting rid of A45 for a new C63?
Discussion
As the title says, thoughts?
I put in 14k on the A45 to get it to £249/month for 3 years. I can put down 12.5 towards the C63 and get it for a little over £500/month for 3 years.
Just unsure about chucking in £500 towards a car when my other half wants me to put it on our first house - any guidance/thoughts on the C63 and is it worth it? Or worth waiting 2 years until my A45 runs out, then to buy one?

Well you've already got an A45, so it's not like you're either car-less, or scrapping around in an old Micra. But ultimately it's your money, so do with it as you wish.
I'd be getting a house, then looking at upgrading, but that's just me.
Very true, possibly may sell it next year and buy a mk2 focus RS outright then I have the extra £250 a month. In two minds about it all - I'd hate to get rid of the A45 lol.I'd be getting a house, then looking at upgrading, but that's just me.
I guess it's a question of priorities, but you've got £14k in the roller skate and £12.5k burning a hole in the pocket, but no house. I am reminded of this picture from an earlier post:

Still, I spunked £25k on my SL when I was still living with me mam, and I can't say I've ever really regretted it. Apart from every time the mortgage statement lands and I remember I could have been £100k ahead.

Man maths can work though. Last house I sold left me with enough cash to just about buy a 288GTO - that has appreciated faster than the replacement house but I would have been back living with mum and dad.Still, I spunked £25k on my SL when I was still living with me mam, and I can't say I've ever really regretted it. A45 to c63 today , then you will want an upgrade to a GT car.it never stops one word house smile.
That's it in one, I cleaned the A45 today for the first time in 2 weeks and it's made me love it again lol. Maybe I'll buy a secondary car to use for work etc (such as a smart car - cheap and doable) and then I can use the A45 over the weekends and fall in love all over.VISE said:

I am having the same problem, having to use my SLK55 as a daily drive now and kind of losing the fun element from it. It was a lot more fun when it was just my weekend toy. Tempted to sell it, but not sure what I would replace it with.Gassing Station | Mercedes | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
