R129 Heated seat fix

I decided to fix my heated seat base using the info on the link above. Tbh I didn't know the seat base was heated until I sat in the passenger seat recently. Its a fiddly job that requires a bit of patience but it worked and now my winter drives will include a toasty bum. Probably the hardest part is unhooking and rehooking the metal rods into the plastic clips, also the foam in my seats was black so the burn mark indicating the wire break point wasn't easy to see. A couple of hours work in all.

I aim to tackle mine soon, it stopped working a month or two ago. Good to know it is not too much of a pain to repair.
