From a convenience point of view I would like to order bits for my CLS online, only need two small partsand dont have time to visit the dealers, any suggestions, I need these

• p/n - A000 998 55 90 – 2 small expansion plugs
• p/n - A000 998 56 90 – 1 large expansion plug (engines without vacuum pump)

My CLS has a bit of a leak from these two cam blanking plates onto the exhaust which makes and expensive kind of smell but is actually, thankfully just a 20 quid, easy job, had my endoscope down there and its dead obvious what it is, can see the telltale on the exhaust mainfold, see the oil seeping down the block and can rotate them by hand.

As per this,

So after these mail order as wont be able to get to the dealers.

My dealer (MB Newcastle) will deliver to my (Newcastle) office free of charge and will also stick stuff in the post at cost.

Is this issue common across other engines? How did you identify it and what conditions saw the problem?
