E350 or E320 petrol estate of 05 vintage....thoughts

I fancy upgrading my very rusty 1999 E320 petrol Estate. It has a few problems looming and as I only paid £1500 I can't bring myself to spend money on it. Main issue is failing rear self leveling shocks which are expensive to buy.

I love the car so fancy a newer version.

I want a petrol as they are in my opinion more reliable and I don't do many miles and it will be an Estate as I love the fact i can just chuck the Bike in the boot without removing the wheels.

Only question is do I go for a 320 or a 350? It will be an '05 as i don't fancy paying crazy amounts of tax.

Any experience of what i should look out for? Looking to spend 5k so should get me a 100k miles car.

I'd stick with the M112 engined E320, it's a reliable unit unlike the M272 350 which has the balancer shaft issues.
