Bonnet vent fins slk 55

Good evening

As some of you may know I picked up my slk 55 AMG last weekend. It's a great example with tidy bodywork full service etc. But I missed when viewing the car that it's missing 2 fins from the bonnet. I only noticed it tonight whilst polishing it in the garage.

The dealer I brought it from is a fair friendly guy selling cars from his home and was wondering if he'd even missed it. So my question is..... Where can I get 2 bonnet vent fins from?? Do Mercedes sell them?? Or can I go back to the dealer to see if he can source them.

if you do a google search you might be able to find the part number/s

i had a similar problem on mine, the shroud around the nearside foglamp was smashed, the part was available next day from MB-HQ to Local MB dealer. i think it was about £70.

Trim parts arent as expensive as you might dread.

My experience is as suggested above, just call your local MB garage and they'll give you a price. Best place to go really. My local at Bedford have been excellent - of course the depo is in Milton Keynes so just up the road. Labour rates are a different matter though :-\.

Popped in Mercedes yesterday and they only sell it as a kit. I might just buy 1 side and see if I can remove the fins.
