2008 SLK low miles, little servicing...problem?
Discussion
I've been offered a 2008 r171 v6 with just over 20k miles. It has been used as a 3rd car in dry weather only. Snag is there is almost no service history and I believe it has only had a single service at about 10k miles.
I'm up for making a cheeky bid on the basis that there is a fair chance things do go wrong due to lack of maintenance and tbh I don't mind taking it to an indie and having them do any work required, having said that is there any reason why lack of servicing might have really damaged the car to the point where it will just never be right, keep breaking down etc...?

Private sale? I'd be tempted to get it inspected before purchase if at all possible?
They're fairly robust cars, and 20k isn't a massive amount of miles, so I wouldn't be overly concerned. Servicing falls within mileage, just not age. If you can get it cheap enough, just get it into the specialist to get it up to date ASAP.
