I was wondering if anyone has one of these? There's not many about. They look fab.

They have dropped a heck of a lot of cash over the past 6 months... Well 20k. I would assume these will be sitting at 50k in the next two years making a great second hand purchase.

I've been really impressed by it. Didnt like it initially, but it has grown on me hugely. The Curve control does a great job of masking the cars weight but is only really effective on longer sweeping corners. The tech on it is outstanding!

Agreed. The car does look lovely.

It's not holding its value well at all. I wonder why.

Historically S-class coupés and saloons always depreciated quickly. The previous model C216 (Ok it's a CL but more or less an S-Class) is starting to come down now, albeit more slowly. Look at C215 values, next to nothing really.

I saw my first current S Class coupé at MB World for the recent barge meet. Much better in the flesh. I love the back end but the current front end is still not quite 'right' but that's just personal taste.

I agree. The front end is a bit odd. It's a bit like the A class.

I can't help but think the E class coupe is possibly as nice from the outside. Okay the back isn't as nice but it has so much potential.

The tech in the s seems unbelievable.

It's a tough choice between a Bentley GT and the A coupe. On the used market they are in a similar price bracket.

these look fantastic.

If it wasnt for the fact buying one is akin to setting your money on fire, i would have one in the stable in the heartbeat.

Well a 2014 S63 coupe is now touching 90k. That's 1.5-2 years old. I guess a new one is about 125k new plus options which we will assume to be about 10k. So it looks like it's lost 45k in such a short period of time.

I see this car hitting 50-60k by the time it's 3 years old.

It's main rivals are of course the M6 and the bentley Gt V8. I wouldn't say the 911 is a competitor as such but it is in that price bracket so is also a consideration. Completely different car though.
