Well, I've had my CLS 320 diesel for a week now and I must say I'm rather impressed with the MPG so far. All my work is on the motorway and I seem to be getting into the +40mpg bracket, hope this will be a little better after it's "C" service over the next week or so.

Yep, I got 45mpg on a January run to Germany. The range means that I can get door to door 740 miles on one tank of Deisel smile

We have a E350CDI 2012 and achieve 26mpg on local driving. I expected a lot better.

W211 e500 here, managed to average nearly 31mpg on an 800 mile motorway trip... but I get low teens driving in start/stop town traffic.

Just in case you had any second thoughts about a petrol merc! smile

I've got the 350 with the 9 speed auto. Motorway runs get me about 40 with up to 45 if there are some slower dual carriageways included. Should be able to get similar range to you if conditions are reasonable.

37 to 40mpg depending on how you drive it ...motorway run

It's slightly better with the dpf removed and a remap
