Looking at post 2012 face lifted C63. Prices seem to be around £25-30k for 30,000 miles - or I can spend more and look at a lower mileage car, perhaps a 13 or 14 and maybe from a Merc dealer as opposed to a non-merc dealer.

But will I gain anything obvious? Does 30,000 really bother these cars? Am I better keeping the extra £5k+ for problems (and fuel!!!)

AFAIK post 2012 cars are not affected by head bolt issues that affected some of the earlier cars so any post-12 cars will be fine. The engine is relatively unstressed, so 30k miles is nothing on these cars. Mine had almost 80k miles when I sold it and it was still running absolutely fine.

Although I don't own a C63 AMG I do own an SL63 with the N/A engine and the MCT auto-box, the combination of the two is well worth checking out before you buy because that MCT box is a gem and what more can be said about the N/A V8.

As above, any >12 is free of engine errors as far as we know. I bought my C63 on a strict options criteria rather than mileage. Maybe work out what options you want and take it from there.
