Has anyone bought/experienced the GLA45? Just wondering what people think of this entry level AMG and especially keen to hear from anyone who has gone from a big engined AMG to one of these. My C63 contract is less than 6 months from coming to an end, and I am seriously considering the GLA45 (don't like the look of the other 45 models). I like the idea of all weather performance and cheaper running costs but worried about it won't not have the wow factor that my C63 still gives me 18 months into ownership. The new C63 in coupe form might also be an option but we are talking at least £20k more - and who doesn't love a hot hatch?
I have trawled youtube for reviews etc, all seem positive but always good to hear from people who have spent their own money on cars like this rather than just borrowed a loaner from a press office.

Having driven both You will notice bottom end grunt is less so compared to your V8.Depends on your driving style as to how you like the power delivered.The 45 will need to be revved ,different sound being a 4 cyl and more of a hot hatch in comparison but all weather grip is great.
No substitute for cubes as they say re the C63.The 45 is a great car in its own way but different in character to a V8.Go drive one ,make sure its the latest 381bhp version and ideally has the performance exhaust.
