CL500 2002 Tyres

Hi All

I need to buy tyres for my CL500 2002 and I am a bit confused. The handbook shows two tyre sizes:

Front
Summer 245/45/R18 96Y
Winter 245/45/R18 100 V XL M&S

Rear
Summer 265/40/R18 97Y
Winter 245/45 R18 100V XL M&S

When I look online for tyres via the registration number, the site shows the back ones as:
275/40/R18 99Y


This size of tyre (275/40/R18 99Y) is more expensive than 275/45/R18

Would there be any problem fitting 275/45/R18 on the rear?

It would be too tall, why not just keep to what's supposed to be on it. Mine are 275/35r19 245/45r19 I think, and also randomly priced from memory

Thanks for that .the point I was making was that the manual and the online stores give different values for the rear tyres.
If I didn't consult the manual, I would have assumed the online stores were giving correct options.
