Mercedes - Pan Roof Issue

Dear PH'ers, I wonder if you could possibly assist, my 2012 Mercedes E-Class coupe's pan-roof is struggling somewhat to function. It is slow to open up, it doesn't always extend back as far as it should, also it struggles to fully close when requested. At times you need to push the close button twice for it to carry on closing.

I was wondering if anyone has any experience or idea what the issue could be?

I would guess that the motors are struggling. Has it been lubricated recently.
