W221 S500 Lumbar Support Issue

Morning all,

Currently own a 2007 S500 and I'm having some issues with the lumbar support on the driver's side. All aspects work other than the side bolster adjustment which doesn't seem to do anything. I've read that the side air bags can lose pressure and begin to leak, but has anybody actually come across this problem? If so, any recommended tips?
