C-class coupe of e-class vert?

Well a bit of a quandary here. Chucked in the SLK for a service the other day (250CDI) and managed to get Mrs [e-mail] a c-class as a courtesy car. Long story short she loved it, not that she dislikes the SLK but the C really ticked her boxes (bigger, more comfortable), the real surprise was she preferred the petrol engine!

Now I do like the little SLK but given that the 350 seems to be not a whole lot worse on juice than the smaller petrol engines it strikes me a nice compromise could be a C-coupe 350 (with panoramic sunroof) or a 350 E vert...

We're not at the point of doing anything yet but if things work out maybe in a couple of months

Any advice/tips/thoughts etc? We'd be looking at 2011 - 2014 age range.
