Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone could help me. I have a 2015 CLA220d, it was involved in a front end accident and we are repairing it. We are approaching near the end of the process however we have an issue of starting it. Attached is a picture of the problem that we think it is, this is off the snapon machine. I'm wondering if anyone knows what the "K88 Resistance value of ignition circuit (pyrotechnic seperator) is? I've asked a lot of people but nobody is sure what it is.

Thanks in advance

Some cars have a method of deactivating power circuits by a pyrotechnic (sometimes known as a pyrofuse) if the car is involved in an accident, this cuts power to the engine bay circuits - in this case it would seem the ignition circuit is one of those that gets cut. So you need to find and replace the pyrotechnic - exactly what is involved in doing that or where the thing is I have no idea, I'd guess you probably need some help from a main dealer or Mercedes specialist.
