Help with a new AMG

Hi all,

I am looking for some information on the Mercedes E63 AMG (Car I have seen is a 2014 model).

I have had my current C63 for a few years now and am ready to change it, but it has been such a fantastic car in my favourite spec that it's taken nearly a year to choose a replacement!

I have decided on two cars and have put my name down for a new Alfa Romeo Gulia QV, but if that doesn't come through then I want to stick with an AMG but get more luxury.

Can anybody with an E63 tell me what essential options I should look for in one? And is there anything else I need to know before buying one? Reliability? Extra costs over a C63 and so on....

Had my 2013 E63 since January and no real issues apart from the stupid Eco stop start stalling the engine and finding the gearbox very jerky when cold.
I have the LSD and the handling is superb for such a big car BUT I've heard various tales of those having swapped from a C63 to find the bigger car a bit of a let down.
I love mine though and can't think of any car I'd rather own!

They remap to over 700bhp when msl get there hands on em. ☺

Take a look at the W205 C63 Saloon, Estate or Coupe. If it's interior luxury that you're after then these have taken a considerable step up, especially with Premium Pack. If you mean a more luxurious ride, then these are not for you; they're harder than the W204.
