Real world difference between C63 and C63 S?

Hi ALl,

I have been offered a really good deal on a C63 with premium pack. I typically like to go for the best in range (buy once buy right etc!) but as far as I can tell the S only really comes into its own if I am likely to go to the track (which I wont!). So I know there is a little more horse power, and eletronic diff and some special engine mounts but cant really see that any of that will be must have's for standard road use.

I cant get a deal for the S anywhere near the deal I have for the standard so will it do the job or is the S a must have?

Any thoughts?

I have a normal C63 Coupe on order for October delivery. I didn't get a chance to demo an S and I found the normal C63 to be spot on. It's got the more comfortable seats for long journeys which I wanted too.
Although a different model, I then drove a family members AMG GTS and can't say on normal road driving that I'd notice the active mounts or diff.

Like you say, I think if it's going to get tracked and your driving skill is high then you'll notice it a bit.

There are better deals on the C63 as availability is better for starters. I'd normally go for the S, but the above isnt worth the price difference for my daily use.

There's a few unregistered C63 in dealerships with a few £k off without asking. I got a good deal on my order to my own spec.
