Sell or keep

I have an SL 500 53 plate, 90k miles, I've done cats and ABC In the last few years. It works and I like it. We buy any car says it's £5800 or thereabouts. Should I get rid or keep it. If I look at the car adds it's worth a bit more of course.. to buy another similar would be £££s. I can get the bodywork issues done for £250
Any advice?

If it works and you have had it a while then just keep it - it won't lose much even going over 100K ...

I wouldn't sell at that price, way too cheap. I don't think people like WBAC and WWAC really want niche cars so will offer considerably lower than true market value. It has got to be worth £8/9k minimum IMO if not a bit more to an enthusiast.

If you really want to sell try putting feelers out or an ad on one of the specialist Mercedes club websites, you will eliminate the dreamers and time wasters mostly.

I think generally the R230's have reached a point where good cars will not depreciate much further if at all so probably worth hanging on too.
