E63 Panel Filters

Anyone know if panel filters will make any difference on the 5.5 biturbo engine in terms of power, or noise.......or am I just being 19 again?

Replied on the other forum but no, not unless you're prepared to go a bit further than just filters. They make little difference to the intake noise either.

A map should always be the first thing to do with these engines, a decent one will take it up to around 600bhp at the rear wheels. After that it starts getting expensive and a bit impractical.

Ask me how I know.
