Hi looking to sell my ml430 as the fuel consumption is getting to me, I am looking for a 270cdi but would like more power/acceleration etc. I have heard about remap conversions and egr delete getting around 200-210 bhp. Any ml owners here with tuned cars that can share their experience?
Thanks

Not ML but I had the same engine in my CLK & a map had it upto 215bhp with no adverse effects.

No I didn't blank the EGR as it was working fine, I did end up changing the Intercooler turbo & injectors just the reasons of wanting more power to see what I could get it to, but the map was more than enough I also got better fuel with the map, it was done by my mate with on the dyno but most companies will do a decent map Celtic tuning DMS etc the two best things to do are a terraclean & map.

Remember the 270 doesn't have a DPF, also you can clean the EGR yourself (with carb cleaner) deleting it is pointless, I also found that the K&N replacement air filter made a nice difference to spool up once fitted.
