1998 E55 - Looking for information, new owner

Hi All,

I've recently bought an E55 AMG W210 and im finding it hard to find any information on maintaining these.
Haynes never did a manual it seems for the W210, there are a few others on eBay but the information on their quailty is nil.

Does anyone own a W210 E55, where do you get your information from. What books do you own?

Looking at the basics of oil capacity, oil type, common faults etc etc.

I own one and don't have any books.

But I do know a nice ex-MB main dealer man who knows them and looks after ours.

The only issue we've had with ours (and our old E240) has been the rear lights constantly failing. This is on the estate model, though.

I also bought one a couple of months back. Basically the Merc Owners Forums are the best bet for any advice. The cars are not very complex and the majority of it is just regular W210 stuff. MBUK is a good site I found.
